Yes, it's free for couples. Browse every regional guide and venue profile at no cost, including the video tours and interviews on venues we've filmed.

It means we visited the venue ourselves and filmed the grounds, the spaces and an interview with the venue's team. Look for the "Filmed on site" badge. We're adding more venues regularly.

It depends on the venue. We only publish pricing a venue has shared with us or made public, such as on its website. We never guess at prices. We try to get pricing for every venue, and if a venue hasn't shared it, we'll point you to the venue for a current quote.

Your inquiry goes to the venue you selected, and we receive a copy so we can make sure it's handled.

Only the venue or venues you choose to contact. We do not distribute one inquiry to a list of businesses.

We focus exclusively on wedding venues, so not every event space or reception hall is listed. We choose which venues to include, and coverage varies by region. If there's a venue you love that we're missing, tell us through our contact page.

We keep details as current as we can, and when a venue sends us updated information we update its page. Pricing and policies change, so confirm final details with the venue before you book.

No. SparkShutter is an independent venue discovery resource. We do not plan your wedding, negotiate contracts, or take deposits.

We're starting in Barrie and the surrounding area, where we're visiting and filming venues first. We've mapped out ten Ontario regions and plan to build each one out properly, one at a time, so coverage will grow as we expand. If you're planning outside Barrie, you'll find a mix of listings now, with more filmed venues to come.
