A working horse farm in the Ontario countryside — where paddocks, open fields, and rustic barns set the scene for a day that feels like nothing but yours.
One wedding a day, every day of the season · 2 to 180 guests

Glen Oro Farm has been part of Oro-Medonte’s countryside for years — and its open fields bring that same unpretentious, welcoming energy to your wedding day. A spacious glass-walled pavilion, grazing paddocks, and rolling farmland set the scene, whether you’re planning a 180-guest celebration or something smaller and more intimate. No manufactured backdrop required. Just a working farm that knows how to host a celebration, on the land it’s always called home.
Elopement and Micro-Wedding pricing is close to all-in — your officiant, florals, two hours of photography, the crockery, the tablescapes. The pieces that usually mean five separate vendors and five separate invoices.
Grand Weddings work differently. The $18,000 is the venue. Catering and bar are yours to arrange, and they scale with your guest count. Booking out the whole property runs closer to $30,000, and a realistic all-in number for a full weekend buyout with bar is $40,000 to $45,000.
One thing that doesn't scale: the venue cost is the same whether you bring a hundred guests or a hundred and eighty. Same for the forest ceremony — twenty people or a hundred and seventy, the price is identical. And anything already on the property that you want to use — table runners, candles, votives — is yours. No line items you didn't see coming.
Full package details are sent by the Glen Oro team once you inquire.
The word “farm wedding” probably brings a specific picture to mind — maybe a rustic barn, string lights, and some hay bales for decoration. This isn’t that.
Glen Oro is a 200-acre working equestrian farm, family-run since 1967, with horses grazing in the paddocks right beside your reception. Your ceremony happens under three ancient oak trees with views across the valley, your reception is in a glass-walled pavilion with a full dining setup, and if you want to end the night in a cabin or a private glamping dome instead of a hotel room an hour away, you can.
Come for the wedding. Stay because you’ll wonder why more couples don’t get married on farms like this.
Fourteen units across three types mean a hotel stay never has to be part of the plan. Explorer's Tents (five) feel like glamping done properly — king bed, ensuite, your own fire pit. Stargazer Domes (five) add a loft and a skylight over the bed. And the four Galaxy Gazer Domes, the largest, sleep up to four with two king beds, a full kitchen, and a full bathroom.
Every linen is white, every towel is white, the place is cleaned to hotel standard — but you can still hear the forest outside.
